A chairmanship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the Ughelli North Council, Hon. Onovughe Stephen Onokpasa has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
Hon. Onofighe, a former Supervisory Councillor for Education in Ughelli North was allegedly kidnapped at Ovwodokpokpo-Ogor on Monday evening, it was gathered.
Though the report was sketchy, Hon. Onovughe who owns a quasi printing press where he earns a living.
According sources from the community who confirmed the incident on anonymous condition disclosed that, Hon. Onokpasa left his friend and was going home before he was kidnapped.
Onokpasa who is among other numerous contestants for the Ughelli North local government chairmanship position, has vowed to redeemed the image of the local government.
